Blackstairs GWS Official Opening

We are delighted to announce that our micro-hydropower energy recovery demonstration site Blackstrairs GWS will hold an official opening on the 2nd May 10-2pm. The opening event of the site will be hosted by Trinity College Dublin, in collaboration with our partners Blackstairs Group Water Scheme, EPS, the National Federation of Group Water Schemes, and Bangor University. The event will feature an official opening of hydropower turbine preceded by a presentation about the development of hydropower project at the site, from concept to installation. The event will include guests from different academic, industrial and public organizations associated with the project. The attendees will be taken to the treatment works for a site tour and presentations will be held in the local community centre. The project has been made possible through the ERDF Interreg Ireland Wales Programme (2014-2020). We welcome your participation
